Can anyone recomend a good website host?

I have been with 123 Reg, There service was abismul and our website has been running slow and had database errors which they have made no effort to fix.

We are thinking the 4 u hosting.co.uk Plus plan.

Any other sugestions, It just a standard site displaying articles with a very small forum. I just want good load time and no database issues.

I used to be with 123 reg.. I feel your pain!

A few months ago I was recommended to go with EZPZ.
I'd never heard of them before but took the tip.

Have to say I'm really pleased we what I'm getting + after banging my head against a brick wall with 123reg its refreshing to get really good support.

I have raised a few queries and always had a response within the hour.
Thats the way it should be done!
I'd recommend them any day, going by the service I've received.

Can't fault them so far and believe me I'm fussy

Never, ever, ever go with 1 and 1. Awful.

Heart Internet I've found to be excellent. A little bit more expensive than some but I've found the support excellent and well worth the little bit extra.

I'd only ever used free webhosting accounts until I got a paid for hosting account with HostGator, and I can't fault them, their support team is great, they've been very quick in any response to help non techy types like myself.

I've heard good things about Heart too, have also read somewhere on Acorn in the past that it is advisable to not use the same company for your domain registration and your hosting (correct me if I'm wrong on this).

I'm sure I've seen the intro lady on Free Virtual Servers somewhere else..
Anyone else using/happy with Free Virtual Servers ?

Yeah 123reg hosting made me want to puke. I'm currently using Tsohost and happy with them. I think the code TENPERCENT still works...
