Website Content Writer - Avalible Now

Just a quick heads up to Acorn people. The copywriter I have used has a free diary for the next few weeks and I said I would place a quick 'advert' to see if anyone is interested..

Mel creates unique articles and 'gets' what makes good SEO friendly copy, plus as she's a journalism student at one of the best Australian uni's thus she writes coherent English rather than the usual 'content writer' tat

She has created unique articles for us and the plan was to get her full time on content generation for a couple of our domains but we have had delays in getting the CMS for the custom sites online and as a result we cant keep her busy.

Generally she looks for a price point of £5 per 500 word article. Generally we pay her £150 a week retainer and get great quality articles and blog (wordpress platform) posts in return but talk to her direct and I am sure it is negotiable / sort out a trial and or weekly rate.

Anyone interested drop me an email and I will put you in touch.

Cheers,
Rob.

Goes to show how rubbish I was paid by rivals... £5... I was lucky to get £6 a day just for traffic.

Rob - im guessing your contact isnt wanting single articles in dribs and drabs, is she looking for bulk? If so, how many?

Quick answer to a few PMs and other questions:

- for the £150 retainer we had 20-25 500 word (sometimes more / less) articles a week.

- Single articles probably abit low, groups of 4-5 @ £5 a pop would probably be more workable, plus good for both parties as a smaller 'trial'. No long term nabbing though as hopefully in a month or two I will have her working her arse off

- As for a big bulk , I would suggest a weeks retainer for the above numbers 25ish, or more!

- Content topics are unlimited however speciality is music related stuff. Generally the closer related the number of articles the better, ie. ten 500 word articles on recycling (often I trigger titles from OV search suggester etc) is easier than 10 seperate topics that may need some research.

- The content is unique, she doesnt copy and paste and she understands what duplicate content is and means in relation to google. ie. BAD.

added:
- To kick off we supply X number of titles eg. using the site recycle (!) could be the main term, we bang it into http://inventory.uk.overture.com/d/s...ry/suggestion/ to get a guide of real search terms and would give:

recycle mobile phone
recycle ink cartridge
what can be recycled

...and get 500ish words on those.

Fire any more questions etc either on thread or via PM.

Cheers,
Rob.
