My understanding is that selling links is frowned upon by Google, so you will have to proceed cautiously if you don't want your PageRank affected. Rgds

A cautionary tale for those interested in selling links... I had a personal blog which had a PageRank of 6 (mostly due to the fact it had been around for ages and had gathered lots of inbound links). Last year I got an email from a company called LinkLift who were offering me money to put paid links in my sidebar. I signed up and all was well for a few months, I was actually making around £100 a month for next to zero work. However, I think after a while Google worked out I was selling links as my inbound traffic took a massive nose dive and my PR dropped from 6 to 2! It's been about 6 months since I removed the links and told LinkLift to do one but my traffic still hasn't recovered and my PageRank still sucks. Suffice to say, I won't make that mistake again! |
