Radio 4 report on NetSearchMedia Ltd

Did anybody else listen to todays midday report on 'Net Search Media' and 'World Wide Marketing Solutions' on radio 4? today

I thought at first it was going to be a short piece on the advantages of Web-search placement but, it actually went into a 10 minute interview about misrepresentation of Google, with a Google spokesman talking about it's position on companies or individuals using Googles name in sales calls.

There will be lots more like this in the coming months. Google are opening some huge call centres to cold call businesses themselves. So they have to now get rid of the dozens of companies in every city who pretend to work for google.

When they roll out the new search people will be more receptive to someone calling them when there traffic has dried up.

With seo taking more of a back seat, and with keyword domains still being in the google mix, those of you who own keyword domains like Edwin should see the seo companies upping their purchases big time.

Like all things radio - it was a good insight

From a casual standpoint - I thought Googles 'apparently' softly-softly approach was being both emphasised and notice given of - ie "that was then this is now"

Midday radio 4 broadcast with several million listening - 90% who wouldn't have a clue what was being talked about - said more than the words imo

I haven't listened to it yet so don't know about timings, but if it was on at midday today on Radio 4 then this should be it:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...rs_23_02_2011/

Edit: Just listened to the first few minutes and it's the first thing discussed on the show.

Well done - I expected it to be also a Webcast but didn't want to state that without being sure.

Sure to get a bit more feedback now - cheers wb
