I smell a rat

Anyone else noticed, and I've seen this a few times now, you start an adwords campaign, and suddenly the page you have the ad directing to goes up the organic rankings...

Happened a few times now, coincidence?

I have never heard of this, I have heard people saying the opposite in the past but never really noticed any changes in my own rankings, with or without Adwords.

Could this be something to do with customized search results being enabled?

I noticed the customised results lead me up the garden path a few times.

However incognito mode shows quite the opposite effect more often than nothing at all.

DF3000 is on a distinguished road

I would definetely log out of Google and then search again

The customised results often make me look like an SEO Genius... until I log out and see what everyone does

You don't need to log out to see what everyone else sees btw... just add &pws=0 onto the end of the Google url once you've entered your search.

You could also try your query in a browser in which you don't routinely sign into Google (one of the reasons I have multiple browsers installed).
