Hi, looking to start up a website idea i have would appreciate advice on a few issues if anyone can point me in the right direction please? domains as in "uk" , or "org" etc whats the benefits/ pitfalls , does it even matter which you go for? my website will be a personal one but i may invite donations does it require a particular .anything to achieve this or what ? sorry to ask such basic Qs.... regards dave |

Try and get the .COM and the .co.uk if you are going to spend a lot of time (and money) building something, otherwise someone may benefit from your traffic if the site becomes popular. The domain you choose can certainly help your website, but content is still king. |
