Hi from Sunny Liverpool!

Just thought I would say a quick hello and introduce myself.

I use to register domains many years ago and got seriously hooked ending up with nearly 400 co.uk names! I sold a handful and let most of the rest lapse. That was quite some time ago and I only have a couple left now - well 4 apart from those I use as email addresses for myself and my wife. Best and worst? Well as there are only 4 I will let you decide: debtmanagers.co.uk, holidaysales.co.uk, vpower.co.uk, worldsnumber1.com.

I registered the vpower name before the oil company, (Shell I think), started using it, but I don't know where I stand on that one if it has been subsequently trademarked. Scouser Vs multi billion dollar oil company - only one winner there -

Cheers, yes I have had quite a few nibbles at debtmanager.co.uk over the years but nothing which has encouraged me to sell.

I also like debtmanagers.co.uk a lot and it's my favourite out of the four you listed.

I think you'd be unlucky to encounter a major problem over vpower.co.uk. But, if you ever do, you won't be the only one as the com/net/org are all parked. And the com was registered even three years earlier than yours, back in 1997 - that's 4 years before Shell registered shellvpower.com

And vpower.com is currently in the YummyNames / Tucows portfolio. Managed by an internet marketer and domain expert such as Bill Sweetman, I think they'd fight pretty hard to keep it.

I think you will be fine with the vpower one seeing as you registered it before they had the trademark. So long as you do not have any content or links that would mention them or be seen as trying to pass off as them in the eyes of a UDRP.
