joomla - Google Maps

i want to include a map from google maps on my joomla site,

Joomla! Extensions Directory - Plugin Googlemaps

I've installed the above plugin but i don't get how i can input it on the page!

Can anyone help

right i managed to install it, add all the configs and activate it, hat i cant do is put it on an artical.

You have to ensure that there is nothing altering your entry text. Try using the designers example and add it to your article with No WYSIWYG editor on and using the HTML editor.

I pasted it all to a text file, making sure it was all on 1 line and then added it to a new article.

could you guide me through it step by step,

first off how do i turn off WYSIWYG editor becuse the way im doing it means the articals wont load anymore

You turn off the WYSIWYG editor from Global Configuration on the main panel. Then go back into the article, paste the line of code into the article, publish it, job done.

Yep thats done it i was disabling the WYSIWYG plugin, much better

Just a site im doing for a local church, there current one is black a white, cenetered to the left and the most boring thing you have ever seen!
