 | How to monetize url shortening service? Any thoughts?
The thing is, a have nice, short and sweet .eu domain, easy to remember, and were using it for private url shortening for me and some friends. I made it open for couple of days and it was instantly spammed. So it went private again. What is the best way to monetise such service? Is it: 1. Making it one-off low subscription service like US$1 to deter spammers? 2. Anything else… What do you think?
