Has anybody any experience with either an FTP app for Android phones, or a web based FTP program. I've tried a few on my android phone but had no luck. Web based FTP programs seem like a good work-around, but i'm a bit paranoid about security in both cases. Does anyone have any trusted software they can recomend for FTP on the go? Or any thoughts on the matter. Cheers Dave. Popupbloke. |

You could always just remote desktop into your server or home machine and just remote control the FTP app.... Or does the source file need to come from your phone?

I can recommend xFTP.co.uk Mainly because its mine I used to run a private install of the software but eventually allowed a few others to use it, word spread and it eventually got moved to a domain of its own.

Thanks all, Some good ideas. I'll have a go with the ones recomended, as my own research found many available, but few tried, tested and trusted. The source file would be on my mobile, but the PC thing is a good idea, worth remembering. That's impressive Jim. A man of code. Cheers Dave. Popupbloke. |
