ive read articles where people try and determine the ctr as a % using Google TE. but im yet to be convinced especially when figures like 5% to 40% are banded about for being rank 1 for a keyword. Therefore im just interested in what other people are actually seeing in terms of CTR from the exact local impressions google lists using their own web stats.

I suppose it depends on the sector/appearance of local listings etc

if we just stick to keyword rich domains like debtconsolidationloan.xx.uk

from my research the following breakdown seems about right:

pos 1 / 10% of impress.
pos 2 - 5 / 3% of impress.
pos 6 - 10 / <1% of impress.

the more people who contribute to this the better it is for alot of us who want to calculate expected earnings etc.
