Morning,

I've just been looking through templates and have decided today I'll mostly be using the 'internet' template, is it any good for CTR? What's your best template, does it depend on keyword /domain?

It depends entirely on the keyword(s). When you're setting up each domain, you can use the shortcut ndparking.com/yourdomain.com to preview the landing page. In this way you can check out a variety of different seed keyphrases for each domain to try and target the results (and header images etc) as closely as possible to what you think the traffic is looking for.
