| Founding Member | Clawbacks? Name n Shame... NameDrive.com from that: NameDrive loves this time of year. So many holidays crammed into the next three months. However, it seems that others are trying to spoil the fun. Some parking companies are withholding earnings from their clients and even asking for money to be returned to them – so-called 'Clawbacks'. We believe that parking companies should be paying earnings to their clients, not the other way round, so we are delighted to launch the NameDrive Holiday CashBack Bonus. ello ello... what parking companies have been demanding monies?!? Further information would be great Cheers, Rob. |

The answer is all of them! They do not necessarly demand a money back from you. Instead they do drop tour share the dismal percentages and increase theirs. My average PPC dropped from €0.13 to €0.07 for the last months. That is called skining the cat, Rob. The final answer to them is just cut the fat cut the middlemen. TurNIC

Hi guys, This was certainly a hot topic at the last TRAFFIC show in New York. Many parking clients were saying that their parking provider was withholding revenue from them, in some cases tens of thousands of dollars, in others, several people were having a flat $100 withheld from their account. You know who the biggest parking providers in the US are, so not sure I really need to name. We know that for some time, other parking providers have been far more lax in what they have allowed on their systems and have gone for the easy money rather than responsibly filtering spam and fraudulent clicks on their system. Even if you are not aware of it, it is likely that some of your domains have some robot / spam clicks on them which are not filtered out by other providers. What they are now seeing in clawbacks are a result of this. We do our best to keep this kind of traffic to an absolute minimum even if it means 'earning' less as a result. We are not entirely insulated from clawbacks, as Vizzy's post shows, but we do our utmost to ensure they are kept to a minimum and we would certainly never do a blanket $100-from-everyone recall. On Turnic's post, I can't see any traffic on our system in your account since 2006, so I can't really comment on that, but we have seen a drop in UK PPC which matches the drop in the strength of the GBP/EUR vs the USD. As our ad provider pays out in USD and the euro and the pound have dropped 16% against it, it has obviously led to a drop in the European PPC prices for publishers, while PPC in the US has remained strong. On Vizzy's first point, I'm not sure where these rumours come from, but I don't really see who can substantiate them as this is the sort of thing they would never discuss publicly with anyone. It is a rumour which has, however, been going on for about, oh, 5 years now... Ed
