Unhappy Fishy Going's On?

I just added a new name to my NameDrive account, and while i was setting the keyword's,template e.t.c I noticed that my top 4 earning names had no keywords? just blank, and the template and language settings had returned to default?

I have not touched the keywords in about a month, and it was just 4 names out of the whole portfolio, my top 4 earners?

My click rate has been very poor the last week, now i know why?

Any explanation for this ND?

Strange isn't it.

But, not sure if you were implying this, but why would Namedrive want you to earn less? (Would mean less money for them)

I'm sure it's just a glitch in the system somewhere.

I am definately not implying they have done anything purposely to reduce my earning's, i think they do a great job, maybe a bug in the software? maybe sabotage from someone else? it's very confusing, i certainly didn't do it, it's just strange that it was only those 4 names.

It's not as if i've lost a fortune, just a few dollars maybe.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Just a thought...

Where the keywords specific to the domain? ie not just high value keywords with no relation to the domain like loans, creditcards etc.

Is it not possible that they have reset automatically if the keywords showed no ads?

The names were performing fine last week, definately ad's for the keywords i was using, ie ringtones, mp3's e.t.c these keywords always show ad's!.

Actually come to think of it, all the names had the same keywords? maybe that is something to do with it................. anyway i don't want to dwell on it to long, as i don't want to seem as if i am pointing the finger at ND.

Bloody Gremlins..

Hi Denchomsky,

Strange indeed. I can't say it's something I've come across as a bug before. I have seen it before if someone's tried to set settings for a folder and those settings have been propagated to all domains in one folder as well as the empty keyword box. We've now fixed this. Were all the domains affected in the same folder? Were they the only domains affected or was the whole folder affected?
If you let me know the domains, I can have a poke around and see if I can come up with anything. At any rate, if you feel it's something at our end, I'm all for adding a couple of bucks (or bugs as my German colleague calls them) to your earnings at the end of the month

Cue spate of people saying "Oh yes, I lost 3$ because all my keywords were changed to 'NameDrive Rocks'" by the system.
Seriously though, Den, if you feel it's something our end, I'm very happy to look into it and compensate if needs be.

Ed

Hi ND, the names affected were in the same folder as 53 other names, but only 4 were affected, as I said before, they all had the similar keywords ,that's the only correlation between them.

I can't imagine there is a bug that only affected me, and i am not after compensation, sh*t happens

Cheers

D
