| Junior Member | google adwords keyword tool - Broad V Exact
Hi Not sure I get what's going on when I switch between 'broad' and 'exact' within the google adwords keyword tool. When i choose a set of keywords i get a different figure for the exact same words when changing between the two. Cheers, Mike |

Broad: "visit" = "visit london" "visit new york" etc Exact: "visit" = "visit" i.e. it is the exact number of times that keyword has been searched on it's own, and I think if there are two words then in that order, but I might be wrong there.

Thanks Ratboy for your answer Not sure I 100% understand though. To use your keyword example "visit London" On those two key words; 'Broad' result says searched 40,500 'Exact' result says searched 18,100 Does anyone know the logic or reasoning behind the two different figures and what they really mean? Are both wrong? Is one right? Cheers |
