 | Register 'Renewal Required' Domain Name
Hello Guys I have a noob question here. I've seen a domain name I'd like to register that was up for renewal on the 18th Jan. It's status with nominet is now 'renewal required' How could I go about finding more information and perhaps registering it if the current registrant doesn't renew? Any help would be appreciated. edit Actually there's another one here which has 'renewal required' but also says the registrant has been suspended. Any help with this meaning would be great too. @ Pbryd, Use this link to calculate domain drop dates, it's in the menu at the top of the forum page: Domain Name Deletion Dates for Nominet UK Domains For ther January 18th one, that gives a drop date of: Quote:

Thanks systreg that's made is nice and clear. Can anyone recommend a drop catching service I could look at to see if they can be caught? Phil |

Mermbers on here such as Gold Frog, Dragon, Matt and Brassneck offer catching services, there is also caught.co.uk You could post a drop catch request in the drop catching section or see who's offering services there, see here: http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/drop-c...ain-names.html

Try Backorder expiring UK domains ****************** :: What will YOU catch today? With caught it can only be booked once it hits suspended state, also some members drop catch too, dragon, admin, but redbird and gold frog seem to be quite the deadly shot, maybe worth messaging them.
