Hi I have spotted a domain name that has been suspended and i would like to buy it. I don't have my own drop catching software and i was wonder if anyone would be willing to give me any recommendations about who can drop catch the domain on my behalf? I have found a couple of sites that offer drop catching services on a no win no fee basis, however as this is the first time that i would have paid for a service like this, i want to make sure that i work with ethical and successful people. Any pointers would be most welcome |

Hi JDS and welcome to Acorn, Take a look in the catching part of the forum, numerous members offer their catching services there: http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/drop-c...ain-names.html Forum member, aZooZa, runs a service at ****************** and caught a name for me a couple of days ago, he charges £30 no catch no fee, and you can book the catch through his site.

I sought a decent drop catching service for a while and my recommendation is to use Monaghan. I'm relatively new to this game but Alex made the whole process simple, straight forward and cost effective.

Eggs + Basket = Bad (unless your basket is of the yellow toad or embarrassed flying reptile varieties). Better to book everywhere you can

To be frank, if I were looking to catch a name myself, I'd book it with every 'no-win, no-fee' service I could find, and if it was something that I really wanted, I'd be prepared to pay a premium/booking fee to those catchers that require it. If there were any unethical catchers, they wouldn't be around too long. Thanks syst and gw.

Further to Dale's comment, if it was worth £X,XXX+ to you, its worth getting a tag, paying dale or aquanuke the setup fee' and then running your own dac and when needed. As I understand it (yeah yeah yeah I still havent talked my partner into a tag, but I'm considering some waterboarding torture straight out guantanamo, to make him), that you pay your setup fee, first month, then you can shut off after a month and then pay a montly fee 4 months later, 8 months later to have it turned back on without the setup fee. (correct me if wrong). So if its worth enough then thats your end option

Hi, Thank you, I apprecaite all of your comments and sound advice. I was issued aTag today. I don't know much at this stagge about setting up my own dac, however i will go and hunt for information now. I guess this will be my longer term strategy. Could someone point me in the right direction to find out more information about running my own Dac. aZooZa, thank you for your time and advice on the telephone yesterday. I will be booking your services and others later today! |
