60 Days rule

Hi

I think this is the right section fot this post.

Fairly new to domaining, i've just brought a couple of Tamiflu related dot com names. Purchased via 1 & 1.

I've parked them in Sedo and would be interested in selling them if some one wanted to buy. However, i've read something on 1&1 about a 60 days no transfer rule from the date of purchase.

Does this mean I cant sell them until the 60 days is up?

As in 'Tamiflu' in the name? If yes, you've just wasted your money. Ditch them!

Trademark for Tamiflu in the UK
Trademark for Tamiflu in the USA

There are about 25 Tamiflu related sites in Sedo, are they all illegal then?

I was hoping that giving someone the chance to findtamiflu.com (example)would be a legit service.

It's not a case of being illegal, it's that they infringe a TM, worst of all a unique type. It's not as if the word has any other meaning, is it? However, if you don't benefit from it, fair enough. As for selling them on Sedo, that underlines the problem.

yes that's two errors of judgment, one being "tamiflu" is a trademark and drugs companies will not tolerate trademark infringement, they have loads of money and like to flex there muscles,so they will more than likely cost you a good few thousand if you try and use it,secondly "1and1" the worst register in the world and you will have fun all the way....
