Domain name requested

I bought bdiy.co.uk about six weeks ago via 1and1 and it still says
'Domain name requested' next to it when I log in..anyone know why...

Looks like the domain has been registered, are your control panel options limited due to this?

Yes I can do nothing with the name at all

Have you tried contacting 1&1?
