 | .org.uk Domain names
Hi, I have found some .org.uk domain names available to hand register with very high AVE CPC values but low local search volumes. My question is what are the chances with a mini site of getting one click a month with an exact search term .org.uk name with a 200-400/month local search volume and £14.29 Ave CPC Value. Cheers |

Yes you could spend a day building a mini site, maybe another half day on seo and get a good search engine listing for a month or two. Yes you will get that one click and make about 50p a month through adsence. Do you feel spending 12 hours on a web site and getting your reg fee back a good investment??

Well, I'd say 200-400/month is a bit on the low side. How easy would it be to get a top 3 ranking in Google. If thats viable you might get more than 50p. However, as a general rule I'd be looking for 1,000+ exacts per month.

for org.uk I usually look for dictionary with over 2000 exact local's or terms like german shepherd which has over 10000 exact locals but it really depends on cpc average terms, with a few seo and a little backlinking .org.uk's can really do well in the search engines. I also have set up some quick to implement minisite scripts which only take about an hour (not including logo/images) to implement so the site is up quickly, like the below, which was a hand reg. German Shepherd (74,000 local, 300,000 world) I have a few that make around 3 times the reg fee each month now so if its a good domain I would go for it. Kind Regards Leon |

I find my .orgs rank but through trial and error have found that those with over 15k exacts a month prove to be worth my time in many cases of building a site, content,backlinks etc. I also don't trust the google keyword tool too much (some sites I have from looking at exact matches I would have expected much more traffic for their positions).
