Is there any cost involved in transfering a .me domain name ?

I understand that .me are TLD's, so am I right in assuming that I can change ownership details via the relevant control panel, say 123-reg and there is not a cost involved like with nominet and .co.uk's

the ones iv sold have been a free transfer to the new owner through domain monster
