Exclamation Is it possible? Google KeyWord tool.

I've found a nice phase and Google KeyWord tool looks like this:

Is it possible that local search volume is much bigger than global? It's for exact phase as you can see.

I'm a bit confused

Serge,

The local is for a specific month whereas the global is a 12 month average.

So if the term is largely used in the UK and not many other places, then it's quite possible for one month's local figure to be greater than the global (12 month) average.

Still, beware of keyword results - they are not always what they seem.

cheers, Luke

Thanks Lucky Luke for your reply. Anyway I've just bought 2 domains related to this 2 word phrase (all TLD's were available - even .com which is now mine). We will see how it will go but this project needs a lot of work but might be worth of effort

Yep it's true what Luke said. There may have been some kind of local news story related to the term. If you select [show trends] from the dropdown menu [choose columns to display] you will see that over the recent months there will have been a spike in search volume for the term.

Thank you onb for the tip I've just checked this column and what I've found is even more interesting. Higher volumes of search for this phrase were in March and April last year according to the graph. Weird. Anyway thank you for your help. Now it's time to start and develop this site
