Owns the most .uk domains

Hey this is a silly question but i wanted to know the answer to. i have done some basic searching on the internet but couldnt find a real answer and it gets a bit gray around owning and managing domains. i think the biggest manager of domains is 123-reg with around 2m domains

but who is the largest owner of .co.uk domains? and how many do they have?

i know that any old person can have 1000. but for someone to have 50k+ would be quite a large amount.

Maybe Dom collect, I'm sure they have 100,000s of domains ?

Might be wrong though, maybe others could be there too!

lol fair point, who controls/leases the most domains then? i was kinda picturing someone with 100k names but on the other hand that would be about 1% of all .uk domains if there was such a person/company.

have tried to do a bit of searching on the provided names and cant seem to find any details on really how many domains they hold. any ideas?

and sorry who is Chris Conwell? i googled him and said that he sold a 3d domain and thats about it.

Like Dale mentioned, this list outlines many although it shows tag holders rather than registrants so not all will be accurate. Equally there will also be many holders of large portfolios who do not have their own tag.

Edit: Excluding the obvious registrars, I think below is accurate in terms of being the top 10 domain registrants who are also tag holders.

Trifega Ltd (26,393)
ANY-Web Limited (20,087)
TagNames Limited (19,305)
Giant Games Ltd (18,271)
Big Advertising Ltd (14,664)
Mr C Holland (11,881)
Chris Conwell (8,825)
