What are the best words to add to generic words ?

Hi All,

Thinking only about the Click Through Rates.... and for a product listing site, assuming the pure generics are all taken, what words do you think are best to add to the main target word or phrase ?

e.g.
Which of these domain names do you think would get the best CTR if they were occupying the #3 position in Google for a term like "handbags online"

1) findhandbags.co.uk
2) buyhandbags.co.uk
3) handbagaddict.co.uk

Just use your own mind as a yardstick. What would YOU type in? From the three examples you have given, number 2 is the obvious one.

What about newhandbags.co.uk

Joking aside, I would say #2 as well

Also words like "best" and "free" tend to bring people to a page. Not sure you want to add the word "free" however. <<gr>>

Better still, I think, add another descriptive like "leather" handbags or "boho", or "slouch" or something like that. All terms we women look for.

Adding UK to a name seems to be popular search tactic for nervous google users who worry about ending up on American websites...my personal favouriites are adding online or direct.

Personally I like findhandbags.co.uk, because it's a domain where you can "browse" and is not too pushy. However, for SEO purposes I would reg a domain with a suffix instead, e.g. handbagsworld.co.uk.

At first glance - maybe

Womens bags are a very "hot" definitive (descriptive) subject - Never try to define in a man bag way
