![]() | Approaching End Users
Morning all, What is the best way to approach end users to sell domain names? Specifically I have a couple of good .eu names that would be good for insurance related business. I know this is a .UK focussed forum but I assume the principle of selling to the end user is the same. Can I find a sample approach letter somewhere? Any advice appreciated. Thanks Aiden |

I didn't reply because I knew there was a thread already somewhere but couldn't find it ![]() Good on you Newpbc, I had a read and it does seem a good idea to e-mail small companies and send an actual letter to big companies. I havn't tried a sales campaign that often but do know that when I put the effort in I did get a much better response than I thought I would

I did manage to sell a domain name to an end user via email. It could be you just strike lucky with finding a good prospect at the right time. On many occasions you will get no reply but that is the nature of the game. I have not tried letters or phone contact as yet. |

Thanks, I suppose it is down to the name itself and matching it to the right buyer. If they are the right buyer they will recognise the value in the name. Thanks for your comment.
