What is the best way to sell a .com and a .co.uk domain together?
Or is it even a good idea to bundle them?
I presume the .com will get better bids internationally while the .co.uk is likely to be of more interest to uk buyers.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

It depends on what the names are and who you are trying to sell them to.

If you take a good generic that has both UK and international meaning, such as carinsurance - then there is no point trying to sell together because the .com will get the vast amount of it's traffic from the US so it's of lesser value to a UK company and vice versa.

Then you get something along the lines of discounttyres which has no value in the US due to their different spelling. A UK company would love to get both the co.uk and the .com as the former will inevitably bleedy some traffic to the .com

I've had the same issues...

I can't find a domain sales site that does this... and especially for the UK it really needs to be the future... When you've got a co.uk you'd be advised to get the .com for branding security and possible global audience... I believe having 'the pair' is essential!

As no one does it yet the only way to get the end user to see the offering is to do it yourself!.... a little sales site where the domains resolve to, with contact info is the best bet.

On sales sites like Sedo, try to give a description of domain as '.com included' or '.com also available'. (and vice-versa)

Personally I'd suggest the deal as being sold as a pair... and the price reflect that (you should be paying more for the ability to buy the .co.uk and .com at the same time... over the individual domains priced separately)

I don't think I'm alone thinking this but I can see that as the domain market matures we'll see more sales of 'country tld and .com' together.... and domain sales sites need to start recognising this.

I would agree with Brewsters. If the domain is a keyphrase that applies in both the US and UK, then I would sell individually, as the .com will target the US users, and the .co.uk the UK users. I would have though you could get more individually in this case.

Not hugely valuable, maybe, but I can imagine social media consultants on both sides of the pond having an interest.
I may take your advice then and go the individual route.
