What the hell has this got to do with nominet?

They are getting like local government, run by people that would be bankrupt in the private sector.

Nom staff are good on the end of the phone though, I must give them that.

Nominet's keepyour.co.uk advert is apearing in threads all over this forum including this one.

Kinda ironic really given some of the target audience on this forum.

Of course I had to click through on the ad to have a quick look - I'd suggest others might like to follow the links and have a quick look also - for infomational purposes only of course!

May be the fear that the domain markets are gonna crash due to the introduction of potentially thousands of new TLD's is making people renew their stuff less and someone's losing money

Like I said in the second post of this thread, what on earth has this to do with nominet?

I could understand it if they were camelot and got an email saying "have you bought your ticket this week?"

Camelot = Profit making entity = Earn more tickets = Earn more profit
Nominet = Non Profit Making = Renew more domains = More Non Profit

I mean if they are strugling to spend the money in nom's pot, then why don't they buy some lazyboys for the office or something and out get people's faces.

If they want to speed up domains from being unused why not drop the 90 + days, fail to renew on day and bang the cillit's gone.

Well my names already dirt at nom anyway, so nothing to lose from ranting again.
