Hi all, I'm looking to see what interest there is in the following forum site I own and run, www.ChessForums.org I created this site back in February and have built it up to a popular chess community with a modern design and some excellent features. -PageRank 4 (some great back links) -560 members, 5400 posts, 768 threads -Completely custom vB skin design -Additional features including PGN viewer, PGN diagram generator -Many relevant vB mods installed and running -Contemporary logo and CafePress store -7 excellent domain names -Genuine member base with a good reputation -MySpace account with 1800 chess friends SEO #1-3 for 'chess forums' (majority of the time we position at #3 although I have seen us at the #2 and #3 spots in the last few weeks) #5-6 for 'chess forum' #4 and 5 for 'chess forum game analysis' MSN #1 & 2 for 'chess forums' #18 for 'chess forum' #5 for 'free online chess' Yahoo #2 for 'chess forums' #5 for 'chess forum' Domain Names ChessForums.org ChessForums.co.uk ChessForums.net ChessTalk.co.uk TheChessForums.com TheChessForums.net TheChessForums.org The vBulletin license is leased so you would require your own, but I believe the vBSEO license can be transferred. This is truly a genuine forum with a lot of hard work gone into it, its a niche market with some very loyal followers. I'm looking for offers at this stage as I am in two minds whether to sell (the reason for the possible sale is I have started a new full time job and can no longer commit to developing the site to its full potential). The site was down for a few hours yesterday morning, typical that my host provider has its first downtime in about 6 months when I put a site up for sale!  Should be up and running again now.Thanks for the suggestion FreetimersInter, I will give it some thought, although I think I am more keen in selling the site at this stage, Thanks, Greg |
