I must admit I haven't done it as yet (not sold any!) but this is the page that relates to it:

https://www.nic.es/tus_dominios/transmision.html

From reading this and downloading the forms it doesn't look like there is a cost. I think your best course of action would be to e-mail transmision@nic.es and see if they can guide you in English. I'm sure the nic site used to have an English option but maybe I'm wrong?

If your domains are registered with Gravitynet they would definitely be able to help you as they provide an English speaking service and have been a joy to work with thus far.

Try their generic contact e-mail.

es-nic@nic.es

If not let me know, my missus is Spanish so might have to call her in on this.

Here we go

You can transfer your domain to another person (change ownership).

First the owner of the domain must fill this form (In Spanish, provided by .es spanish registry)

https://www.nic.es/tus_dominios/manuales/anexoI.pdf

Then the new owner must fill this second form accepting the transfer rules (In Spanish, provided by .es spanish registry)

https://www.nic.es/tus_dominios/manuales/anexoIII.pdf

Then you have to email these two forms together, adding proof of ownership of the domain by the old owner (his/her passport for example) to:

transmision@nic.es

Beat me to it, just been reading this in my broken Spanish. I can't see any mention of cost though at all. Also if as DG says that e-mail address bounces it doesn't bode well, although "transmision@" is not the same as the English "transmission@" be careful when typing
