There are no 'newbie/stupid' questions apart from those not asked

An OV domain is one where you get a score on there. Type house.co.uk in there - basically, its a count for people who type the domain into their browser, and it actually does a search via Yahoo & MSN - that's my take on it Anyone else?

good description JeeWhizz

OV is the Glasses Guide of Domainers

Without it you would often be buying domains in the dark. It's not always accurate tho' - I've bought domains with high ov (and that have stayed high - so can't have been deliberately manipulated) that have never really produced the expected return. On the whole it gives a good indicator and if you're buying a domain for £6 more often than not you'll get your £6 back and more if the OV is right.

The OV is the amount of people over the month that have typed domain.co.uk into the Yahoo search engine.
