I'm in the weird position of supporting two teams (and having good reason to). I'm a lifelong Man City fan thanks to a Mancunian family on both sides but I'm also a Fleetwood Town fan who I've watched since they were in the North West Counties Division 2 (not much more than pub football really) and now thanks to countless promotions in recent years are now in League One.
I didn't get into football until I was about 12, my brother supported Leeds for some reason (live nowhere near Leeds) so I took up supporting them too It was magical back then, champion league football, class players like Kewell, Viduka, Ferdinand, Woodgate, Dacourt After they got relegated and relegated again, I just couldn't watch any more, the standard of football was just so poor in lower leagues So now I can't call myself a Leeds fan, I just enjoy watching good football.
I was 20 when they won the final first division before it became the premier league. They were good times - saw the victory parade. Unfortunately they got messed up financially by suits and bankers (cockney rhyming slang) and this has been the result.
Barnsley. Born and lived in Hull all my life, but my Dad is a Barnsley fan, so settled on them. Seem to recall like Liverpool, Spurs and Rangers as a little kid
Haven't got to see it up close yet but can see the top of it in the distance near my house. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished up close at the spurs game
