google maps guru needed

has anyone experience of the google maps API?

I need a map with a boundary from a certain point and the ability to search a post code to see if it falls in within the boundary.

Is this doable and if so what's the cost to set this up?

PM me f you can help,

Thanks,

Fish

Like this one I coded? : http://bainbridgemarine.co.uk/Map.aspx

Ps: I didn't do the design, just the javascript / xml handling

Oh and it is doable, but I am not confident in my knowledge of the maps API so I won't quote for it

More detail: You set a radius around your points latitude and longitude and then request the geocoder tool to check if it falls within that radius.

yep need something similar however it's not going to be a radius (I wish it that simple) rather a boundary, hopefully someone will step up to the challenge

Yeah you can set boundaries I believe, based on lat/long points and then they connect to form the boundary, is it more complex than vertex's? Should defo be possible good luck!
