Blog or News Publishing Script to integrate?

Hi everyone,

I'm after a news publishing script or blogs/articles script I can easily integrate into an existing design by use of a <php> include etc (not the type where you have to fiddle for hours with headers and footers and templates etc) and running on MySQL.

Either paid or free version, not bothered, but having trouble locating a decent script that does enough, but not too little. I need to enable others to publish articles directly to a site via a WYSIWYG interface.

Any suggestions?

I needed something like this for a site, I just knocked together a couple of input boxes a few textarea's and pushed into SQL, it was only around 100 or so lines of code.

Maybe worth you doing the same ?

Wordpress just get you design ported

Thanks. Not using WP on this particular site as it's too restricting.

The one I did is on http://www.skindustrial.com took about 2 days in all most of which was spent adding an admin panel to upload images, add users, and bbcode and stuff like that. The basic news script tho, was virtually nothing.

Alot of it is hardcoded so I can't just rip out the code to post

I have very little time to edit my own sites and no motivation :P
