Matt Cutts has posted that on his blog - quoting

"Hey folks, I wanted to let you know that new toolbar PageRank values should become visible over the next few days. I�m expecting that also in the next few days that we�ll be expiring some older penalties on websites."

Getting high PR is becoming harder everyday, I was not impressed by this PR update though

Your page rank has no relationship with the rankings of your website. Read Page Rank v/s Trust Rank SEO HAWK

Google will never disclose the real ranking factors. The entire Page Rank theory is outdated and it is sad to see that Google has succeeded in misguiding webmasters.

SEO is not a concept which can be contained within a negligible factor like page rank.
