I've been looking for an alternative to ezines, squidoo and hubs for writing articles with links to my site. I've found a couple of dofollow link sources that might be of interest to people.

Prospotlight allow - even encourage - you to promote your own website and give you your own blog page. Links are dofollow and have shown up on my backlink checks.

travelling seos gives you your own blog page with dofollow links (though they haven't yet shown up in my backlinks).

NB - I don't own either of these sites.

Have you tried these sites and does everything work OK ? I am also wary off new sites without several recommendations that they have used OK. Would be interested in your experiences or if anyone else has used.

Wow! Many thanks - I've just started writing a couple of ezine articles (one accepted, one waiting for approval) and have been thinking about submitting to other article sites to vary the backlinks - I assume that it is best to have articles published by lots of different directories rather than just by ezine?

Having got an article published, does anyone know of an "article directory" of published articles that could be used as a source of backlinks?
