Hello all i recently worked somewhere and they said they had a website so of course i had a look, there site has a pr 2 which for the site`s content is very good, i have had a look at the back links in yahoo which there are only 1 in link to the main page and if i type the url into google there is 8 links, I found this strange, I know pr isnt everything but would like to boost my personal sites pr up and wondered what i`m doing wrong or what they have done rite?

The same thing has happen with me. I am running a website whose home page pr is 1 where as its resource page pr is 2 where there is no content and that page has not been optimized. It is really amazing why has given it pr2?

Sometimes 1 or 2 good relevant links can be better than 100s of scrappy ones. A tourist site of ours got a pr 1 / 2 (it's changed over time) largely through 1 link from a local tourist board.
