The data in it is supposedly pulled from the Google knowledge graph, so the trick is to get your website well documented in places where Google draws it's knowledge from - e.g. wikis, serious authority sites within a niche, BBC, etc. Allegedly. There are people out there who claim to do it...

well that's all up to you, but honestly I don't see any point in being all cloak and dagger about it, the more open you are publicly the more chance of selling it - absolutely zippo reason to hide it. Your strength is is in the contacts you have and the brand if anyone feels it is strong...

It all depends on the niche - if it's a "soft" one that isn't saturated with lots of affiliates and large retailers then you should be able to rank pretty easily via content, otherwise if it is tough then you need to be thinking about PBNs - ideally your own. Do not use publicly advertised...
