I went a few years back, and it wasn't all that much cop. Rackspace had a huge stand, as did a few other hosts (poundhost i seem to remember). I was going in the hosting capacity, so don't recall seeing much in terms of domain names. There were a few CRM/CMS firms there, and the usual people: Microsoft, worldpay etc

If your in the industry its often good to pop along and put names to faces. If your local to the area, i would pop along (as I am) however if its anything like the other year I wouldn't make the journey from a far. You do get a few freebies, pens, t shirts, etc with young women handing them out. This year is apparently one of the biggest yet so I'm told so hopefully will be a good one!

Is there not something going on in Manchester at that time relating to domains? probably something really insignificant

As for other events in Manchester, the Nominet AGM is taking place on May 2nd. We'll be there too!
