seriously sedo peeps you need to get your marketing / promo head on.... we are thinking about withdrawing some names from the list at auction as you are really starting to p*ss people off....

the whole idea of inviting some Acorn DNrs, we thought was to break the ice and have a chat about the UK marketplace that you are trying so very hard to break into... it, however seems that whoever is driving the "promo" side of things has got no idea how to get UK owners excited!!!

we had a nice little deal going so that some big players can step on / step off one of our little ventures (aye, aye captain birdseye!) when and if they want while the main event is on.... yet you are whining about "after a couple of comp drinks for acorn members, the bar will announce when you have to pay etc etc" really, really petty!!!

so once we all get to know each other, before going to your event and spending shit loads of $ at your poorly organized "exclusive UK event, will we be asked to leave the pre-event venue and then have to walk to the nearest soup kitchen for the night????

any chance you can actually (shaun) answer some of our (and other members) questions directly instead of fluffing over the answers with typical sedo B*LL!

sorry to be so blunt but WTF... a couple of free drinks!

we were referring to if you do actually know when it is you are meant to be where it is you are going will there be time to visit the soup kitchen on the embankment 5 mins from venue!

It will NOT be possible to simply turn up on the night - I need anyone who wants to come to get in touch with me first.

Can't say it sounds appealing. COUPLE of beers has been said too many times for my liking. It's tooo far for me to travel for a COUPLE of beers. It sounds a bt of a marketing thing too. " send me your username in pm" is that to see if were worth buttering up? Oh he only has 30 domains I won't waste time chatting to him.
I think there should be an acorn do organised by acorn members for acorn members then we won't mind paying for our own drinks.

Hi Hammer,

I can promise you that the last thing I or Sedo will do is shut people out from this event because they don't have enough domains. The reason I asked for people to PM or e-mail me to say if they are attending is purely to keep a check on the numbers, because as I mentioned we don't want people just turning up on the night.

I have already heard from people with relatively few domains who would like to come, and have of course invited them.
