I understand that due to privacy laws it cannot be discussed, however it does beg the question why he even still has an account with you

I am currently following up a few options, one of which is talking to the regional trading standards in Germany.

One interesting aspect to pop up from such talks is that the sellers view is there was no legally effective deal and that no payment was made either.

In Sedo's view, considering they are a Germany company, would they say there was a legally effective deal , and that payment for the domain was made?

Which payment are you referring to here? The one you made into our escrow account?

We of course agree that this was a legally binding contract to transfer the domain to you, and the seller was informed many times by my colleague that he would risk legal action from you if he didn't honour that contract.

Regards,

Shaun

Yes, exactly.

Good stuff

Have dropped you an email further to the Stuttgart trading standards people.

Cheers,
Rob.

Thanks for the offer, if things require I might take you up on that!

The german trading standards are very efficient to be fair and have english speakers helping me out

The costly bit is the german < > english legal stuff which is why I am trying to make that a last resort and go via mediation. It will drag on if I have to recover costs as well as just the domain!

Cheers,
Rob.

Hi Rob,

I'm very confused by this, as according to our system he is still locked from selling. I am investigating, and will get back to you when I have more information.

Regards,

Shaun

OK,

As I suspected, all his domains are set to NOT for sale in our system, and this is down to a bug. The bug has been reported and will be dealt with by our tech team as a priority - I've asked them to really get their elbows in gear on this one.

Shaun
