Exclamation Sedo parking payment now by CHAPS

I have just received my Sedo parking payment. Unlike all previous months the bank transfer was made by CHAPS and has incurred a £2.00 charge.

On Sedo's website it says "We recommend the payment method „bank transfer“ using the SWIFT / BIC and the IBAN-Account number as this payment is free of charge."

I'm sure I'm not alone in choosing the bank transfer simply because it was the free method. So I urge anyone else who has incurred a charge to complain.

SEDO is located in Germany, Cologne (Köln - German). They, I believe, use Commerzbank. It seems Commerzbank directly made the SWIFT to your bank. CHAPS means sameday transfer so tiny GBP2 is normal IMO.

Since 2005 when I started parking with them it has always been as if it was by BACS, incurring no charge. This should also be cheaper for Sedo so I don't see why they should change. It may seem like a small amount but overall it will amount to a lot of parking revenue going to the banks rather than UK parkers.
