sedo featured listing any good?

Has anyone has much success with sedo's featured listing? I have just got it for my smartcardbanking .com domain, hoping it will catch someone's eye!

I got tons of views but I did put upmy.st on. I could have chosen better. others will say you're wasting your time and it does only stay on the main page for around 48 hours but people do view the second page.

Yes, perhaps i could have chosen better myself. Thing is, i have loads of domains on sedo, and they just get lost in the millions on there. Many times i've gone to search for my domain and found it several pages back on the keyword search results. So i guess i thought this was worth a try.

I haven't seen it on the featured yet, does it take a few hours to kick in?

Presumably they always have more featured domains than they have space to show on the front pages. So they probably randomise it.

Has the domain listing seen an increase in "views of listing" or traffic?

I have been checking both the frontpage and the page where the rest of the featured domains are. It should be at least on the 2nd page...but nowhere. No viewings or increased traffic. So i can only guess it hasn't started yet. I can't find any info from sedo about how long it takes to process and get listed...but i'm gonna want a refund soon!

Everything becomes irregular at this time of year. Defer until January.

They trunket the listings so everyone gets the same amount of time on the front page. So if there was 50 domains ordered before yours, you'll be 51st. You've got to try and time it right otherwise you may end up showing when you don't wish to be.
