![]() | Sedo charge back question
Just wondering how safe is it to deal on Sedo, couple of months back I had a deal cancelled because of a buyer charge back on his payment, I was thinking what if the domain was transferred and he did a charge back, would I lose the domain and the money?

Hi Takwa, Although chargebacks by buyers do occasionally occur (not all of them deliberate), they are immediately flagged by our Accounts department and the transfer is put on hold. I can honestly say I've never seen it happen that a buyer has managed to charge back and get hold of the domain as well, but if it were to happen, we would never let a seller be out of pocket. If we couldn't get the domain back, you would still get your money. As I say though, luckily that scenario has never happened as far as I'm aware. Regards, Shaun shaun.wilkinson@sedo.com |
