Sorry mate I meant why are you re-considering sedo and not namedrive or any other platform? Just because sedo is the biggest?

What you have to understand is that I send all my traffic directly to MY sales site, not to any 3rd party.

So therefore any other sales venue I use has (had) to create its own leads independently by virtue of the traffic flowing to it (since none of the traffic is directly from my domains), and certainly there are much much larger numbers of people searching for domains to buy on Sedo than on Namedrive.

One reason I have used Sedo rather than setting up my own sales site is that I have been a bit wary of listing all my domains in one place. In the past this was primarily due to worries of DRS and complaints. All my domains are generic and trade mark free (as far as I know), so are my worries unjustified?

Thanks
Stephen.

Setting up your own sales site does not mean listing all your domains... just use a template for a lander page for each domain. A simple lander page is more effective than a down your throat sales page. Let them know it's for sale, but don't force the issue. Example of mine Free Vegetables | Swap Excess Produce | Donate your Excess vegetables
Probs a bad example as I wouldn't sell that one, but you get the idea.

Be careful. You may be breaking the Adsense T&C by putting ads on a page where they're the only obvious "exit" from the page. I had a warning from them a couple of years back when I did a similar thing on a micro site - they don't want "forced clicks" from people who use the ads as the next destination simply because there's nowhere else they can escape the page other than a "back" button.

Agree with Edwin - fine if you take the Adsense off; but if you leave it there and get reported / found out you are most likely going to lose your Adsense account. Perhaps you could put affiliate banners on instead if you can find suitable merchants?

Stephen.

Yes I was chancing it for a couple of days with the adsense. I've had a telling off from google before so don't want to risk it anymore. I might get around to adding aff links for each one, but I currently manage them with one php include file to change all sites. In the meantime I've stuck up a link for the Haiti Appeal. Better that than nothing.
