Auctions, these need to be promoted more!

I've been checking the last 10 or so .co.uk domains that went from a bid to auction.

8 out of the 10 sold without any other bids taken,

does that seem low to people?

I'd say it depends on the types of names you're talking about and what the opening bids were.

If they were strong generics with low opening bids then I'd expect them to get more bids during the auction, but if they were very specific names (ie with less likely interested buyers) at high opening bids then I wouldn't expect to see more buyers getting involved.

Thats a fact ... The current auctions are poorly promoted by Sedo .. you really have to search/navigate the new site lay out to find the auctions ..

That aside getting bidders to bid even on established names becomes almost impossible (in my case) when deciding to go to un-reserved auction in future i will just keep on negotiating with the original bidder rather than let good names be taken away for the starting (reserve met) price such as my current auction CasinoAffiliate.net
