Where are my sedo domains going?

I have selected prime domains to be submitted to the upcoming Premium Auction. I have been doing this quite frequently but I'm not getting the feedback on whether the domains have been accepted or not. There must be quite a few tens which are greyed out in my domain view.

What is happening?

Also I do not understand the quality criterion. I have domains that are valued by yourself for over 10,000 that do not make the grade for your premium auction. I am very confused, who is right with the valuation? How do you judge with a domain is fit. Are my submissions going into a black hole?

Does anyone else think we need a collabrative effort to create a workable alternative to sedo?

This suggestion seems to be cropping up a lot recently...

I'd be interested for sure. Been considering a use for my 'sold' domain
However I'd be genuinely interested in being involved in a startup for a real alternative if others would be too.

There needs to be a platform for decent generics, where quality wins out over quality. Otherwise you're just replacing one 20-million-domain needle in a haystack over another. Of course, any time you had to make a strict "in/out" decision, that opens a huge can of worms...

A good point. Sedo is a needle in a haystack site but their main failing is usability and customer service as far as I can tell. I wouldn't expect it would take much to reorder the site to make it more user friendly. At the end of the day I never use sedo for domains I want to buy, only domains I want to sell. So if you were looking to buy a domain from sedo, I guess you already know what sort of keyword it would need to contain yes?

This is something I've been giving a lot of thought to lately and may well launch something later this year, time permitting.
