LLL.co.uk, 200EUR?

http://sedo.com/search/details.php4?...id=&language=e

How do sellers listing prices work? Do they just put them low so they get interest and then counter with ridiculous amounts?

There's loads on Sedo at 200 Euros but you usually you won't get it for anything near that price, I think it's someone on here aswell and they price everything at 200 euros as their stratergy.

There is someone on here that does this (not naming names), but he definiately isn't alone.

Put an offer in and watch the price climb...

From memory my highest counter from a £/EUR/$ 200 seller was 15k (and no, it wasn't a great domain either) which begs the question if you want 15k, why bother putting 200 as the "Sellers Expectation".

Although I always check the WHOIS before making an offer so never bother with most of these 200 Euro domains, I'm not a fan of the sellers doing it.

It's pretty much 'bait pricing' which is regulated by the OFT. Sedo should be able to easily identify which sellers consistently counter offer far higher than their expectation price and do something about it.
