Money Recent sales

Domain Prices http://www.domainprices.co.uk has been updated with recent / March sales, quite a few nice ones there including some high value 3 letters, and note Genes.co.uk was bought in a private sale in July 2007b for $6,000 (£2,979) now resold for £5,900, nice profit

Please let me know of any Forum / Private sales I can publish.

Thanks

Admin

You've got skirts on there. I haven't received payment yet or heard from the buyer! There were 2 bidders of £3k though so hopefully one will pay!

Interesting you had 2 bids at the same time and for the same amount yet the "Bid automatically placed by Sedo." won, doesn't seem fair to me. If the other bidder was using this system with 2 minutes to go surely it would have gone higher?

Never used sedo auction before so not sure how it works? As long as one pays! thought it was worth more though!

Looking at that, I would guess that the Bidder 2 won because it will have been the earlier bid (i.e. the bidder set their max bid before the bidder 3 placed theirs) and that the 2 bids of the same amount would suggest that Bidder 2's highest bid was £3k so if Bidder 3 had bid £3000.01 they would have won!

Well 1 week on and not heard a dicky bird from buyer. Also contacted sedo and said can't you contact the other bidder? and surprise surprise no reply. No emails about whats going on either.
Entered some for the next auction and again no response.
They really are piss poor. They need some healthy competition, they are making money for doing sod all!

Is there not enough knowledge, experience and skills amongst Acorn members to create a competitor? They are not exactly offering domainers cutting edge technology!
