![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Domain Trader Rating: (100% / 14) | Property.co.uk & Tickets.co.uk A few people on here will have probably made enquries / offers on these names before. If you look at both domains the new owners (or part owners) have started taking the first steps to developing the sites: Property.co.uk - Property For Sale And Rent ticket search engine ticket exchange Based on the names, market, rumours and in some cases direct contact I would say these names have either changed hands or share of them for £xxx, xxx . Unreported sales of course, but interesting to see what is going on away from domainerland Cheers, Rob. |

![]() | Nice observations, it's always interesting to watch the fate of quality generics ;) tickets seem to be under the old owner, just changed tag/hosting property was registered to another company before May this year, so most likely was sold for XXX,XXX. there was another likely six figures generic sale which I recently wrote about in the blog: DomainLord Blog Blog Archive cashback.co.uk sold for 100k GBP? |

![]() | design and content The design and content is not in keeping with a firm paying XXXXXX for a name or names......I would say the names are not developed or did not change hands for such figures or they spent all the money on buying the name with no money left to spend on developing....the property site is not in keeping with a quality property portal and tickets is clearly not the ticket as at today The evidence suggest that 'money paid' is mere hearsay Lee |

Going by site design... does any remember version 1 of Fly.co.uk and many other sites that dont reflect sales prices - is a sedo parking page a £40k site for lyrics etc You have to remember its only the last month or two that these names have become active in their current form, so very likely these sites are beta / tests / previews . | |

![]() | Property was previously registered to an Australian company. I enquired about tickets about 6+ months ago and was advised that negotiations were quite far along and it would take a mid £XXX,XXX offer to get involved. The whois hasn't changed from back then though? |

![]() | No ROI I cant see how they will get ROI and the website does not reflect a great confidence in doing so.... As for fly.co.uk apart from the initial news coverage over its domain price I havent seen any other press coverage....such name (not contextually good) needs exposure and I dont see it yet....would have been better using a 2k name and then spending 80,000 marketing it.... ![]() | Interesting that you should mention property.co.uk Rob, about a year ago (when I was living in Oz) I contacted the owner (who lived in Perth) and had a very serious discussion about buying the domain (I was prepared to pay a six figure sum) but alas he wanted to hold out for more. So then we got talking about adding content to the site, i.e. turning it into a rightmove clone with proprietary software which I was prepared to do (I already had something similar coded) but again nothing came off it. I just got the impression that he was picking my brains for suitable ideas. Personally, if he did sell for anything under £500k then it was too cheap, as with proper content he could easily have made that per year. |

![]() | Was it (property) caught by him in 2004 or acquired from a catcher? |

![]() | He told me he paid a lot for it, so I assume he bought it off a domain catcher. |
