Another good week for .co.uk domains reported on dnjournal.com (although it was a bit of a poor week for .com domains)

A .co.uk domain - ggg.co.uk was top of the table at a price of £17,000. Here's a few of the best:

ggg.co.uk £17,000
solarpower.co.uk £9,000
eway.co.uk £2,500
corfugreece.co.uk $2992

and a few others on the list. Two of the above sales sold to overseas individuals/companies. Seems more overseas investors are looking to buy up good .co.uk domains which is encouraging.

great news, nice to see some very strong sales, though some sales do make me wonder why that price!

Interesting purchase, same guys who bought A10 .co.uk last week for $19950.

GGG = Girls Go Games. Spil Group must be expanding its UK sites. A10.com is another game site they own.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing. It could easily be turned into THE core destination site for a multibillion pound industry... Mind you, it goes back to the "a domain is only really worth what somebody is willing to pay for it" adage.
